Our usual shipping time (click to see UPS time in transit for ground shipments) is 24 to 48 hours. If there is a display involved, it might take an extra day. If you specifiy a shipping date, ie: the first of the month, it will be honored. If you need the order shipped the same day you place it, your best option would be to call the office and place the order by phone. [ back to top ]

How often do you check the website for orders?
Our computer is configured so that your order will Pop Up and be brought to our attention as soon as it is entered. [ back to top ]

Do you backorder styles that are out of stock when an order is placed?
Not usually. If we are out of stock on an item it is usually just for a few days. Customers usually prefer to reorder an out of stock item the next time they place an order, as this cuts down on shipping charges. Any item that will be out of stock for a lengthy period of time will be listed as “temporarily out of stock” on the order form. If you wish to backorder an item, please fill out the “comments” section provided and we will backorder the item for you.

There is a custom design that I would like to have put on a fan pull. Can you do this?

Yes we can, but it tends to be rather costly. The images that we use are manufactured by several companies and called “open stock”. We prefer to use these because, as you know, trends become more and less popular from one season to the next. By using the “open stock” we can order as many or as few as we need. With a “Custom Design” it would be necessary to have a camera ready original, and you would need to purchase several thousand of that one design. It would, of course, be for your exclusive use, and we would put the image on the fan pulls for you. After we get the artwork and get it to the company that will make the images for us, it will take approximately 90 to 120 days before we get the finished product. [ back to top ]

What is Porcelain?
Porcelain is a product made from a specially formulated slip which is about the consistency of mud. It is pored into a mold and left to harden slightly. It is then removed from the mold and fired at extremely high temperatures in a kiln. After the product is fired it is coated with a glaze and kiln fired again. The firing process hardens the glaze to a glass-like finish. After these processes are completed the decals (pictures) are applied to the surface and kiln-fired again. During this final firing process, the decals become part of the finish, so that they cannot be removed from the surface.  Porcelain differs from Ceramic in the respect that it is fired at a much higher temperature, making the base product much denser and more durable.  Our porcelain products also have a "bright white" glaze finish, rather than the slightly off-white base of the ceramics.  Porcelain Fan Pulls are 2" tall, 1 1/4" in diameter, barrel shaped, decorated on both sides and come complete with a 6" 18K Gold Plated chain assembly. What is FIMO?
Fimo is a clay. Once a design type has been established, the clay is dyed in the appropriate colors and shaped into thin rods. The colored rods are then placed to form the desired design. The clay is then cut into extremely thin slices and applied to the surface of a fan pull blank. The entire piece is then kiln fired.  Fimo Fan Pulls are 2" tall, 1 1/4" in diameter, barrel shaped, decorated on both sides and come complete with a 6" 18K Gold Plated chain assembly.  Fimo Incense Holders are cup-shaped, 1" tall, 2 1/2" in diameter and brightly colored with a 3-dimensional fimo figure in the center.  There is a hole in the center of the figure to accommodate the incense stick. What is Faux Crystal?
Faux Crystal is an optical grade of clear acrylic that is molded in to a desired shape. There are several animals and geometric shapes represented in our Faux Crystal collection. Many of the designs are faceted, which allows the Faux Crystal piece to throw rainbows in direct sunlight similar to Austrian Lead Crystal. The beauty of the Faux Crystal is that it has the look of Austrian Lead Crystal without breaking or chipping. Faux Crystal fan pull figures range in size from 1 1/2" to approximately 3".  Faux Crystal Fan Pulls come complete with a 6" 18K Gold Plated chain assembly.  Large Faux Crystal Ornaments range in size from 3" to 7" and come complete with a 7" gold tone ornament stand. [ back to top ]

What is Resin?
Resin is a substance that can be molded into many shapes. The detail of the resin pieces is extremely fine and accurate. Once the molding process has been completed, each piece is painted with life-like color and detail that will not rub or wash off.  Resin Fan Pulls are approximately 1 1/2" to 2" tall and come complete with a 6" 18K Gold Plate chain assembly. What is a “Closeout” Item?
Closeout items are items or styles that we are no longer manufacturing or are trying to sell out the remaining stock. Since we switched to Porcelain early in 2004, we have been closing out the remaining Ceramic stock. We also have Incense Holders, Large Ornaments with stands, a few figurines and FIMO fan pulls in our closeout area at this time. All items in this section are priced below the original wholesale cost. Once these items have been sold out, they will not be replaced. [ back to top ]

Why is the letter “z” behind some numbers and not others?
The letter “z” behind a number means that there are several different images in an assortment. e.g. 1119z is an assortment of 4 different horse heads. We must buy all four images at the same time, so we are unable to let you choose a specific image from that assortment. If there are 4 images in a “z” assortment and you only want one style, place the number 1 in the order box. You will receive one of the four images. If you want two different styles from that assortment place 2 in the order box. If you want all 4, place the number 4 in the order box. Subject to availability, you will receive one each of the four different styles available. [ back to top ]

How many pieces of a style must I order?

You can order in quantities of as few as one piece per item. It is not necessary to order in multiples unless you want them. [ back to top ]

What is Ceramic?
Ceramic is a product made from slip which is about the consistency of mud.  It is pored into a mold and left to harden slightly.  It is then removed from the mold and fired at a high temperature in a kiln. Ceramic differs from Porcelain in that it is kiln fired at a somewhat lower temperature, thereby creating a slightly more porous product.  The base color of ceramic is slightly off-white.  All Ceramic Closeout Fan Pulls are 2" tall, 1 1/4" in diameter, barrel shaped, decorated on both sides and come complete with a 6" 18K Gold Plated chain assembly. What is a Fan Pull?
A Fan Pull is a small decorative piece that attaches to the end of the chain on a ceiling fan or any light with a beaded chain, enabling the fan and/or light to be turned on or off without having to use the switch on the wall.  Our ceiling fan pulls are available in porcelain, faux crystal and 3-dimensional resin. In total we currently carry approximately 500 different styles. Each different media lends it's own charm to a room at a very reasonable price. All fan pulls, no matter what media is used, are complete with a 6" 18K Gold Plate chain assembly already attached. The fan pull will   attach to the existing chain already on the fan. What are the Key Chains made from?

What is an Auto Pendant?
Auto Pendants are a decoration for the rear-view mirror of the car. We use our Faux Crystal pieces and adapt our 6" 18K Gold Plated chain into a 2" chain with a 4" loop that will fit around the stem of the rear-view mirror. This allows the Auto Pendant to hang just slightly under the mirror and not permit excessive swinging. The advantage of Faux Crystal Auto Pendants over Austrian Lead Crystal Auto Pendants is price, price, price, and it doesn't break! Our Faux Crystal Auto Pendants will throw rainbows in direct sunlight, just as the Austrian Lead Crystal does, however it is much less harsh. What is Cloisonne?
Cloisonne is an ancient artform. The use of wire and enamel entertwined on metal is as timeless as it is beautiful. The artists use the wire and colored enamel to fashion stunning, intricate pictures of flowers and birds, etc. The closionne pieces available range in size from 1" in diameter to 3" in diameter and come complete with a 6" 18K Gold Plated chain attachment. [ back to top ]

What are Sports Balls?
Sports Balls are a collection of miniature baseballs, soccer balls, footballs, tennis balls, ball gloves and bats that we have fashioned into fan pulls. They are made of either rubber, hard plastic or vinyl. The balls range between 1 1/2" in diameter and 2" in diameter. The gloves are 2" tall. The bat is 3" tall. We have combined some of them appropriately - the bat and ball, for instance, where appropriate. Each sports ball fan pull comes complete with a 6" 18K Gold Plated chain assembly.
